How to Clean Stove Grates Easy and No Scratching

If you don’t clean up stove everyday, then dirt and grime build up over time. It’s very difficult to get rid of them. I tried different ways and it always took me a few hours to complete the tedious job. I was so happy that I found this all natural way to clean them. This technique won’t scratch your stove and doesn’t require any extra elbow grease! Give your arms a break and wipe off the mess without any effort!

All you need to do is to pour about ¼ cup of ammonia in a large Ziploc bag and then add your burner. You will need to do this for each of your burners (given the amount of ammonia). You can leave this overnight and outside is a good place just in case the bag leaks for some reason. Once you bring them in, just wipe the gunk away with a sponge.

Note: nobody likes the smell of ammonia. Please make sure to seal your plastic bag completely, so the strong scent of ammonia doesn’t leak out into your kitchen.
