Cedar Ridge Acorn Free Crochet Pattern

The Cedar Ridge Acorn comes in four sizes and works up in a single cosy sitting. Each acorn grows from the bottom up in continuous rounds, so the body stays smooth with no seam to close. The cap uses a textured stitch combination that gives it that lovely rough, nubbly surface real acorns have. Only chains, single crochet and slip stitches are involved, which makes this a genuinely friendly beginner project. Sizes range from a mini at an inch and a half up to a large at four inches tall. Scatter a handful in a wooden bowl, string them into a garland, or tie one onto a parcel as a gift topper. Because each Cedar Ridge Acorn uses so little yarn, a basket of them is a perfect way to clear out leftover autumn shades. Thank Pretty Darn Adorable for sharing this free crochet pattern.
